Due to rapidly escalating health concerns relating to the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the “WHY WE GIVE” Planning Committee has decided to POSTPONE the event scheduled for Friday, March 20th at Rowan College at Burlington County. The decision to postpone was not taken lightly.  We recognize and acknowledge the inconvenience this postponement may cause. However, this decision was made out of concern for the health and well-being of our attendees, our speakers and the South Jersey community.  The WHY WE GIVE Planning Committee is working to secure a new date. We've scheduled several opportunities for you to learn about the difference the women of Impact100 South Jersey are making in our region. Our 2019 Info Sessions are for women interested in joining for the 2020 grant year (Jan 1 to Dec 31). The membership deadline is December 1, 2019. If you're a returning member, we encourage you to bring or invite friends to learn about our exciting women's collective giving initiative. This list includes info sessions at public venues. In June, Impact100 SJ members awarded Ronald McDonald House of Southern NJ $27,500 to replace the carpet throughout the Camden facility with easier to maintain flooring. They had applied for the $100k Core Mission Grant for this project, but our members were thrilled that the organization didn't walk away empty-handed. We knew they, at least, had a large chunk of what they needed to complete the renovation. But that wasn't enough for Jackie Cometz, who became part of Impact100 SJ collective giving initiative last October. The Impact100 South Jersey Annual Meeting is the most exciting night of the year. It's the culmination of a year of hard work engaging new members, re-engaging existing members and managing a very stringent grant review process. Our volunteers work hard and the annual meeting gives them a chance to network and celebrate what we've accomplished together.
