At Impact100 South Jersey, we believe in unlocking potential, creating opportunities and building inclusive pathways for all. That’s why we’re thrilled to shine a light on Pride Paws — a remarkable nonprofit based in Medford, NJ.
Pride Paws was awarded a 2025 $10,000 Community Heroes Grant to use toward their mission. They provide job training and transitional employment experience to individuals with developmental disabilities who could not independently succeed in a traditional work environment. Their fully-operational retail storefront and production programs (baking dog treats, sewing pet toys, customer service roles) enable participants to gain meaningful work experience, build self-esteem and become contributing members of the community.
The “PRIDE” in Pride Paws isn’t just about pets. It stands for the pride their participants feel in their job, skills and achievements.
