Impact100 South Jersey’s 2020 Core Mission grantee LUCY Outreach has grown in so many ways over the past few years. Their physical space, number of young people and families served, and their staff have all increased and are enjoying their 10,000 sq. ft. dream building!

In order to make all of this happen, every day, year round, LUCY Outreach depends on individual volunteers to assist with afterschool homework support, meal prep/ cooking with young people, career mentoring, and assisting staff with managing activities. View the many volunteer opportunities on their website. They are flexible with scheduling and appreciate any available time you can give to support LUCY’s young people.

The High School students at LUCY would greatly benefit from college and career support from mentors who can help them with FAFSA applications, college essays, and college applications, as well as navigating the many career options that don’t require a college degree.
Work for a company that loves to give back to the community?
LUCY also hosts organizations/corporations for Days of Service, where employees spend a few hours helping the youth prep/cook a meal, assist with an activity (art/gardening) or tackle of some of the tasks needed to maintain upkeep for the new building (landscaping, organizing/setting up rooms, sprucing up basement etc). Or your team can plan a custom project with LUCY staff and youth.
