At our 2025 Annual Meeting on June 12th, our members gathered to award $191,000 to six organizations that serve our region. The grand total our members have awarded to 27 local organizations since 2018 is now $1,411,360. Announcing our 2025 Grant Recipients

The members of Impact100 South Jersey have selected the organizations to support with their collective contributions of $191,000. The six grants awarded at the June 12 Annual Meeting bring Impact100 South Jersey’s total grantmaking amount to $1,411,360 since 2018.  Congratulations to all of our phenomenal grantees! We are thrilled to announce that Joseph's House of Camden received our $100,000 Core Mission Grant. Joseph’s House of Camden is a low-barrier homeless shelter that holistically and individually supports and empowers people experiencing homelessness in achieving stability and regaining control over their lives. The organization will use its Impact100 South Jersey grant to expand 24-hour access and services for its guests. Registration Now Open for June 12th Annual Meeting

This is the most exciting night of the year — the night our members choose which organizations will receive collective contributions of $191,000. Hear from the nonprofit finalists that have been selected by fellow members and vote for the South Jersey organizations that will be awarded one $100,000 Core Mission Grant and two General Operating Grants for $30,500. We will also announce the recipients of our Community Heroes Grants. Three organizations voted on by our members will each recieve $10,000. Our Annual Meeting is also a great opportunity to meet our members, introduce prospective members to our growing movement and learn about upcoming events and activities. Boys & Girls Club of Cumberland County Breaks Ground On New Addition

In 2022, Boys & Girls Clubs of Cumberland County was awarded $100,000 to expand their space in Vineland. Unfortunately, skyrocketing, post-COVID construction costs slowed their expected progress. The original project became out of reach and the board and staff was forced to rethink their plans. They went back to the drawing board to revise their original construction plan, raised more money and found new contractors willing to complete the project. On Thursday, March 27th, the dream finally began to take tangible shape during the long-awaited groundbreaking. Members of the club, the staff and Board, the construction team and the community were on hand for the exciting moment the project got officially underway. How The Tender is Using Its 2024 Community Heroes Grant

2025 Community Heroes grant recipient, The Tender, Inc. is a non-profit Adult Day Center and Caregiver Support Program in Mount Laurel, NJ, created with the sole purpose of providing for the specialized needs of seniors and their caregivers. Their name refers to the small boat (a tender) that ferries passengers from the shore to the waiting ship, a gentle metaphor for the journey of aging. We are truly grateful to all of our 2025 members for their contribution to our 2025 grants! At our Big Reveal on January 8th we announced that we have 191 members and $191,000 in grant funding which will be awarded at our Annual Meeting on June 12th. This brings the grand total of grant funding raised since 2017 to $1,411,360. GRANTEE SPOTLIGHT: Hispanic Family Center

The Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey (HFC), a 2024 grant recipient, provides comprehensive programs and services that address the immediate needs (physical, mental, social, and economic) of the residents of Southern New Jersey, as well as establishes the organization as an instrument of change and a voice of power for those they serve and represent. The $27,500 General Operating Grant is unrestricted funding, however HFC will use the funds towards the project outlined in their core mission grant application to create a Mental Health Healing Garden. It will serve a wide variety of populations and be used by their existing mental health, substance use, and domestic violence programs as a place for therapeutic activities and group counseling sessions.  Update on the Mental Health Healing Garden HFC has engaged Community…
