Here’s more proof that ours is a community of compassionate, generous women who are always thinking about how they can improve the lives of others.
Our deepest thanks to Beth Gamel, who saw a need and responded quickly! She and four other Impact100 South Jersey members took part in the Heart of Camden’s CARE Drive donating diapers and feminine hygiene products.
Beth, along with Nancy Sullivan, Lisa Pendarvis, Abby Cohler & Bev Volpe — all members of the Women, Children & Families Grant Review Committee — donated:
- 2 large boxes (186-192 diapers each)
- 3 regular boxes (80-120 diapers each)
- 2 small bags (26 diapers each) of newborn to 28-lb. diapers
- 2 large boxes of maxi pads
- 1 large box of tampons
- 1 box of menstrual cups
- 3 packages of baby wipes.
Executive Director Carlos Morales and staff members were all smiles and very appreciative of the contributions.
