The concept of Beyond the Check is a tenant of Trust Based Philanthropy. It is one of the ways Impact100 South Jersey partners with our grantees beyond the funding we provide. Offering grantees the opportunity to connect with our members to recruit volunteers, board members, or support in other forms expands the impact with have in our community.
Our October 26th Beyond the Check event at Collingswood Community Center was designed to provide meaningful connections for our members — giving them to chance to become even more involved in making a difference in our region. They also got to hear first-hand how our grants have allowed grantees to reach the next level.
