We’re pleased to present the names and details of the six organizations our Community Heroes Grant Review Committee has put forth for members to cast their votes. The three organizations that receive the highest number of votes will be announced at our June 12th Annual Meeting and awarded $10,000 grants.
The Community Heroes Grant voting is open only to 2025 Impact100 South Jersey members. Please select the three organizations you’d like to see receive this year’s Community Heroes Grants. To aid in your decision, scroll down for information about each organization and their plan for using our funding.

2025 Community Heroes Grant Finalists
All Things Are Possible (ATAP)
Service Area: Camden County | Website: atapfoundation.org
All Things Are Possible’s mission is to empower young people and to enhance the community through academics, athletics, arts, and awareness and serves a total of approximately 1000 students each year across a variety of programs. The Community Heroes grant would be used to further their The Literacy Enrichment and Academic Program (LEAP), their existing after-school program, by integrating a targeted literacy component. With additional funding, they will enhance literacy development through specialized instruction, resource acquisition, and technology-driven learning tools. This is intended to improve homework completion and test preparation. The grant would help enable ATAP to expand the number of literacy coaches or increase the number of instructional days to maximize student impact.
Crisis Response Canines (CRC)
Service Area: Camden, Burlington, Gloucester & Cumberland Counties | Website: crisiscanines.org
Crisis Response Canines’ mission is to bring strength, comfort, and emotional support to individuals, families, and communities affected by traumatic events. Highly trained and certified canines and their handlers have advanced certifications and provide services to schools, first responders, medical staff, and communities. CRC serves an estimated 150,000+ through community education programs and deployments in response to specific traumatic incidents. A Community Heroes grant would help CRC expanding their reach, strengthening crisis response efforts, and enhancing animal assisted interventions and wellness programs for communities across New Jersey.
DH/Perfil Latino
Service Area: Cumberland County | Website: perfillatino.org
DH/Perfil Latino’s mission is to equip underserved Latinos with the tools, confidence, and culturally grounded support they need to build healthier, more empowered lives. Serving an estimated 3000 people each year, they work through health education, personal development coaching, media outreach, and trusted grassroots networks. A Community Heroes grant will help them strengthen and expand their mission by training up to 25 new community-based promotores (coaches) to deliver Sí Puedes, a signature personal development model that guides participants through self-awareness, values discovery, and goal setting to increase self-efficacy and long-term resilience. These community coaches are seen as not just trainers, but as multipliers. Each promotore will support at least 10 individuals, ultimately impacting hundreds of Latino lives, with a ripple effect extending across families and communities.
Free All Minds Academy (FAM)

Free All Minds Academy’s mission centers on helping young men develop self-discipline, resilience, and leadership skills. Through mentorship, academic support, and life skills training, F.A.M. equips its participants to overcome challenges and strive toward personal and academic success. Focusing on young men in Camden county, FAM’s School to Prosperity Pipeline (S2P) program launched in 2024, in collaboration with Rowan University, and implemented the C.O.A.C.H. Model, focusing on Community Engagement, Opportunities in Career, Academic Promise, Care for Self and Health, and Hands-on Mentorship. A Community Heroes grant would go toward increasing program capacity, allowing them to increase the number of youths they serve up to 100 annually by the end of 2025, maintaining their 1:5 mentor-to-mentee ratio.
I Dare to Care (ID2C)

As I Dare to Care has grown, they have become “flooded” with need for direct services for youth. The ID2C program is a beacon of light and for more than 16 years have lifted young girls from a life of blight and missed opportunity to a life of achievement and success. I Dare to Care is applying for funding from IMPACT100 South Jersey to add two six-week STEM training classes for girls 13 to 18 years old, many of whom have limited resources and face the challenges of an economic digital divide. ID2C STEM program will address the lack of digital access and involvement in technology by teaching the girls about the STEM concepts behind technology, providing them with secure internet access and teaching them the highly marketable STEM career pathways.
Pride Ventures, Inc. (aka Pride Paws)

Pride Venture’s mission is to provide job training and transitional employment experience to individuals with developmental disabilities who could not independently succeed in a traditional work environment. Gainful employment helps promotes self-esteem and improved quality of life, building transferrable skills that can also help them seek further employment in the broader community. Participants and volunteers bake and sell all-natural homemade dog and cat biscuits and make other pet accessories in their shop in Medford. A Community Heroes grant would help Pride Paws continue its mission of preparing adults with intellectual disabilities for meaningful employment, ensuring they have the skills, experience, and confidence to thrive in the workforce. Pride Paws serves an estimated 30 participants per year, in addition to countless community members and customers who engage with their shop.
