We are thrilled to announce that CASA of Atlantic, Cape May and Camden Counties received our $100,000 Core Mission Grant. CASA, which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates, will use the money to expand their presence in Camden County. The grant will be used to increase visibility and improve access for children they serve and volunteers that fulfill their mission by securing a Camden-area office. They will also recruit more CASA volunteers to support children as they travel through the court system.
Two $27,500 General Operating Grants were awarded to Bayshore Center at Bivalve in Cumberland County and Hispanic Family Center of Southern New Jersey headquartered in Camden City.
In addition to our traditional grants, members also awarded three Community Heroes Grants to Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation, The Tender and Women of Hope Resource Center.
