Crisis Response Canines is one of three 2025 Community Heroes Grant recipients. Thanks to the generous women of Impact100 South Jersey, Crisis Response Canines is making an even bigger impact — helping communities and first responders heal after crisis and trauma.
Here’s how our grant is changing lives:
🚐 Deployment & Travel Support: NJ teams are now able to travel to crisis sites like Kerry County, TX and Minneapolis, MN, bringing calm and comfort where it’s needed most.
🎓 Trauma-Informed Training: Handlers are gaining deeper skills in emotional regulation, psychological first aid, and crisis-sensitive communication — making every deployment more impactful.
🏫 Supporting NJ Schools: By integrating canine-assisted wellbeing into school reentry and staff recovery programs, we’re helping students and educators rebuild strength and connection.
